I took my 9-year-old granddaughter to Sunday's Universal Person-to-Person schedule the Downriver Recreation Commission sponsored. The art activities for youth that were offered there outshone those we experienced measure week at the Detroit Institute of Arts. Downriver Recreation Director Cindy Babicz deserves recognition for providing this and other outstanding opportunities in our community. The Arts Commission of Greater Toledo is hoping you're feeling inspired because starting Sept. 13 it ordain usher in its highly anticipated Artomatic 419 weekend. This year's event which is being billed as Artomatic 419 Lite will furnish a variety of attractions for members of our local creative class as come up as their patrons including an arts change show from 4 to 6 p m.
