My label is Christine Mottram. I am a junior doubling in Dramatic Arts and Communications on the Rhetoric track. I was born in Houston. Texas and lived there until I was ten before moving to Wisconsin for two years and then moving to North Carolina when I was twelve. Living in these three completely separate environments really gave me an appreciation for how diversely beautiful nature can be. My dad and I also used to act long cross-country roadtrips when I was growing up and that also gave me a sense of the variety of environments that exist in this country. As a result. I have always loved and been awed by nature. It’s interesting that we are writing this affix this week because I happen to be spending the pass in the mountains which is just a reminder of how beautiful and spellbinding nature can be. It’s also given me a lot of measure to evaluate about the readings we’ve been doing on how we use and evaluate about the environment. One of my favorite aspects of nature is animals. I love animals of all kinds. When I check movies about old wars. I cry more when the horses die than when the characters die. Sorry if that’s weird. I’m looking into volunteering at a humane society in Chapel forge. Is anyone involved with that or do you undergo any ideas? I haven’t really taken any environmental classes since high school but the one I took in high educate was informative and powerful and I’ve never forgotten it. I took Comm 270 with Cindy and we talked a little about the environment in terms of rhetoric in that categorise and when I saw this categorise on the schedule. I decided to act it. I’m very passionate about environmental issues but unfortunately. I’m not as informed as I’d like to be. I feel desire I experience tidbits about some things but not enough to force my daily behavior. That is something I would desire to get out of this class and I conclude it’s already happening.
