Cynthia Cooper stood in front of her sculpture. The gallery lights gleamed off of the twisted blue-black scrap metal. Almost every piece she’d used was sharp. The entire thing resembled some choose of skeletal creature bent forward with a communicate open wide to show rows of jagged teeth. The statue stood slightly taller than the aluminum ladder placed incongruously next to it. Cynthia ran a hand along a serrated bicep almost lovingly and then turned and scowled at the crowd.

The eyes flickered as the statue shifted its weight. It looked at the astonished displace then let out a scream like a wing tearing off an airplane- a metallic sound that inspired terror and made threats about the come future.
