September 5. 2007 – Selby Education Foundation (SEF) today announced a major milestone in its fundraising efforts to support Selby Lane educate a community educate serving Redwood City and Atherton. Selby Lane educate has been awarded accreditation by the prestigious International Baccalaureate Program () a significant education milestone in the school’s four-year transformation effort to support academic excellence. This milestone for Selby Lane School was achieved with support and study funding efforts from the Selby Education Foundation (SEF) and the Redwood City educate govern for the introduction of transformational programming and educational resources.
Over the last four years. Selby Lane School which serves parts of Redwood City and Atherton has invested in an aggressive academic improvement program culminating in accreditation as an IB lay Years school. IBO is an organization that sets and monitors standards for top academic achievement and enrichment. Launching the IBO Middle Years Program (MYP) is designed to provide a private-school level of quality education at Selby Lane School and ordain supplement recent improvements in the school’s curriculum and infrastructure. Recent examples include enhanced language instruction and a greatly expanded visual and performing arts schedule. Children who act on to the IBO’s Diploma Program (through Sequoia High educate) and pass the IB exams in 12th grade ordain receive up to 30 units of college credits at top public and Ivy unify schools.
