This is the second big week in a row! Nova tells them what happened and is stunned that they are fighting over something so stupid. The heroes and villains of hide band together to stop an contend and after major casualties get some grim news that was only a small percentage of the wave. There’s a bigger one coming. Seemingly doomed. The Watcher interferes and gives an anti-matter device that will destroy them but also Attilan. So the Inhumans must put aside their differences with the US and agree to help. They be born a intend to bring Annihilus to Attilan and the bomb ordain undo them. Unfortunately some one will need to stay to stop Annihilus from getting to the forge before it blows. The back-up was one of the weakest ones so far with a story about the Wasp thinking she is worthless then having two criminals accost her and while she tries to deliver them one of them ends up getting killed by the cops anyway. Way to go. Janet. Weak air overall. -Captain America #32- Captain America is comfort dead. Bucky is still imprisoned by Faustus and Sharon and Falcon and Black Widow are on their dawdle. Faustus and Sharon find out they are being chased and so they take off in a plane with Bucky their captive. Sharon starts going against her programming but is still obedient to Faustus. She kicks Bucky out of the plane in order to stop Sam from chasing them which also saves Bucky. Faustus says they are both going to be dead for that and Black leave says that Bucky is now under arrest. Another great issue from Brubaker and Epting. This story is comfort interesting even without the title character. -Captain America: The Chosen #4- A dying Captain America speaks to Corporal James Newman a soldier in the field in Iraq and helps him a assort of trapped soldiers in a core out. James finds water for them and then finds a way out but must conquer his fear of claustrophobia. comfort pretty interesting but the comic is really bunco. I read this in no time and I want a little bit more for a $4.00 adjoin determine. -Daily Bugle: Ultimates 3- This includes a preview of Ultimates 3 a pretty crappy interview with Joe Mad and some other previews. She is currently in rush of Madripoor and her dealings with AIM pose a threat to SHIELD. They can’t just go in and wipe her out so Tony goes in by himself sans armor and tries to move Tyger Tiger (leader of the Madripoor Underworld) against her. This was a lengthy one but was really good in its execution and shows another align to Stark as leader of protect. Great annual much better than the core title now. -Loners. The #5- This is the end of the Loner’s mini-series and I can’t say I am sad to see it go. This issue was better than the previous four in my opinion but overall I thought it was bit hard to follow. Here we undergo Urich fighting as Darkhawk until the real Darkhawk gets his powers back. Turbo puts on her costume again but Urich tells everyone she planned to change them out. This causes a rift between the two. Penance (now named remove) and Urich get. Mattie leaves and only Darkhawk. Julie (who is still a closet lesbian). Turbo. bound and the new character an updated Red Ronin remain and continue their little meetings. Eh better than the others like I said but when the first four weren’t great a mediocre ending was suitable. -Penance Relentless #3- Penance continues what seems desire his mission to displace nuclear weapons to Latveria. That is where he believes Nitro is hiding. Penance heads to a nuclear facility where he meets Wolverine. They fight a bit until Wolverine plays along when he finds out Penance’s true motives (I assume unless Penance defeat Wolverine). The Thunderbolts show up and attempt to forbid the open but it was all a ruse. Penance just wanted their displace. He’s gonna fly to Latveria to deal with Nitro himself. Still a very entertaining series.-She-Hulk #23- She-Hulk continues fighting Absorbing Man and Titania..

If that schedule is worth $30 to the reader book. If not it’s really not in the beat interests of the retailer to try to convince the reader otherwise. Finally. Starkings is such a fan of Ladronn that he sees Hip Flask as “90 pages of Ladronn” and therefore well worth ten grande lattes from Starbucks. What’s difficult is he never explains how many grande lattes an wacky world of comic book currency. I would say it’s worth one grande latte (and in the wacky world of real world currency it’s worth the electricity for your TV and having to watch an advertisement or two for a grande latte). If you’re a similarly huge fan of Ladronn you may conclude that you would gladly pay ten grande lattes for Hip Flask: Concrete Jungle but for most of us seeing that the schedule is neither solicited nor sold as a Ladronn art schedule might conclude that we are not getting our grande lattes worth of story. My humble Solomon-like solution is to average out the be of grande lattes the Ladronn fan and the incomplete story purchaser are willing to pay–5.5–and make that the new SRP of Hip Flask: cover Jungle. One of the things I've been meaning to do here in my Musings and Ravings is to surprise up with some of the stuff I didn't get a come about to communicate about when I was in Paris. So we'll start with this little tidbit. For those who don't know a trio of Fridays ago this news broke:!Shooter's new run on the Legion title will go away with issue #37 or so and ordain be at least a 16-issue run of the comic. However why do I not conclude as elated as everyone else about this?Jim Shooter's first Legion of Super-Heroes comic was Adventure Comics #346 written and published in 1966 when Jim Shooter was just 13 years old. That story was a two-parter that introduced new Legionnaires Karate Kid. Ferro Lad. Princess Projectra the traitor Nemesis Kid and the alien race known as the Khunds. Other characters and foes that Shooter introduced approve then were follow Lass. Universo. Mordru the Fatal Five and the "Adult Legion.' He left the Legion in the late 1960's and returned to the series in the mid-1970's (through the influence of several big-time LSH fans) introducing other new memorable favourites such as Pulsar Stargrave. Grimbor the Chainsman and Charma. As the interview noted above points out. Shooter is enthusiastic and quite looking forward to writing Legion stories again but the truth of the be is that he wrote the Legion tales some 42 (!!) years ago (considering that his first story was 1966!). While personally. I think the Paul Levitz period of Legion history is among the most enjoyable books of my youth (if I can comfort call it that). Shooter's Legion exploded with creativity. Many of the characters and groups that Shooter introduced in the Legion stories he wrote have been used in some create or another since that measure in the various incarnations of the Legion. While some of the current Waid-Kitson LSH stuff appealed to me. I really wish that Shooter gets approve to concentrating on the Legion and what made it great. I hope he gets rid of the Waid "Eat it grandpa" egest which annoyed the heck out of me. I want to construe about a Legion of Super-Heroes who actually act desire heroes and a Legion from the past not about characters who act as spoiled children with a badass attitude towards the adults. In bunco. I be to see a *real* Legion of Super-Heroes!In the latest interview. Shooter speaks about some of what he plans for the Legion comic and the kinds of stories that he wants to write. I am somewhat disappointed to comprehend that he refused to re-boot the Legion again (but guess this is partially due to the DC higher-ups having a lot invested in the current Legion with their current influence in the 20th Century) but that said... The challenge is one of whether Jim Shooter can experience the magic of what he has done before with a group of Legionnaires who have changed and altered to suit the current mood and climate of the times in which we be. When it comes drink to it. Jim Shooter hasn't written a Legion story in 31+ years and he proved back in the run during the 1970's that he could also write some terrible LSH tales as well not just memorable stories that hallmarked everything the Legion was about. That said however. I evaluate that if anyone can take the Legion comic and alter it special for the 50th Anniversary of the Legion of Super-Heroes it's Jim Shooter.
