After going to the Arts High School I can not wait to go approve to begin my observations of the classrooms that I have with my assigned teacher. When I first walked into the educate I did not know what to think because the first thing I saw was metal detectors and a security guard. But after seeing the students singing and hearing from the people that are in rush of the school it had totally changed my ideas that I had before coming into the school. It made me feel like everyday when each of the students come into the school they enter a world that is filled with oppurtunities for each of the students talents that is completely different from the world they undergo outside of school that for some of them is filled with harsh and difficult times that a teenager with there talent should not have to deal with. I am anxiously awaiting to return to the school and meet some of the students and teachers that get to experience an environment like Arts High School on a daily basis. I like what you said about the Arts High School students - "they enter a world that is filled with opportunities". It is true. Good public education does make a difference in children's and teenagers' lives and being able to be this great school is a blessing. I guess it could be seen as a way for students to escape from reality but at the same measure it represents hope of better days to come for Newark and other urban areas. I believe that if these students receive quality education and adults expect a lot from them they will develop their skills and perform to their beat potential. When they graduate they will act with their higher education and careers and be successful or maybe emit as artists. In either case they will make us proud. Moreover these educated and talented individuals are the proof that it is wrong to denominate residents of urban communities as bad dangerous or hopeless. Kids from urban communities are nice smart and talented; all they need is people who compassionate about them and the tools to succeed. I think a lot of populate held your same thoughts and feelings towards the Arts High School. When I went to Arts High School in Newark on Friday I was so impressed. The students who attend this educate are exceptional. For the breif time we got to spend in the classrooms on the journey a student gave us. I saw so much talent. This included talent in dancing singing and acting. This was only some of the subjects that we walked into. The teachers and principal took great experience in their students and thier talents. Hearing the teachers communicate about the students and their jobs you can tell that they really undergo a passion for teaching. Arts highschool is also beautiful! I could not believe how beautiful it was inside. In some parts of the school I thought I was in a muesuem. In the school there was beautiful show of art from some of the students and some beautiful stained furnish windows. The school also appeared to be very clean and come up taken compassionate of.

I really enjoyed my first move to Arts High. I really have never seen a class setting like that. It seemed desire every student that was there really wanted to be there. You didn't see any kids with their heads down sleeping or getting loud and disrupting the teacher. All of the students seemed to want to be there and be to do well. The administration and teaching staff all seemed to love their job. They all where so connected to what they do and I got the feeling that they truely wouldn't want to bring home the bacon any place else. As opposed to other schools I undergo seen none of the teachers seemed to be there for a pay analyse they all wanted to alter a difference. Thats what America needs and thats what kids need and I hope all of us conclude the same way about our profession because if we don't it's time to change majors.

I thought that this educate was very interesting. It was definitely a great experience to go there and just listen to the populate who spoke to us and also the kids who took us around the educate. If and when I have Arts High would be one of the schools on the top of my enumerate to teach at in an inner city area. It seemed like the kids had fun while in class and the other teachers that we saw and talked to were all very nice and really seemed like they cared about the kids in their classes. The opportunities that can go for these kids are tremendous. If I get the come about to student inform there I would act it in an instant

Wow! I had an amazing experience today. I got to see a school of extraordinary students and faculty in the works. I didn't be to get! There was quite a remarkable atmosphere in Arts High School of Newark. NJ. I can't wait to go back to shadow a teacher. I was definitely surprised by what a gem of a school it is. Wow. Professor. I truly left in awe and I'm inspired by this tour... Thank you. You really opened my eyes to multiple new experiences. The school was REALLY warm and welcoming. The entire staff appeared to be composed of awesome professionals who overlap in their hearts the ideals which undergo lead me down the path I'm on. This visit reaffirmed my cookie cutter made cause to become an educator because my heart overflows with like for others. Many of the messages I received today are ideas I've toiling with for my inquiry project. I am SOO happy I was a part of their day for just the few hours I was there. I finally have a definition I can easily bequeath for a magnet school and I have a beautiful picture in my mind of a special one.

The willow and urn this morning. Plans to act a bunch of background patterns with the same willow--along with building some more pictures with this linear copy to alter the lay. Plus. I can use the jaggity pattern I used as the main copy in avian flu as part of the roots... I like the willow as it's florid leafy and linear and can be rendered graphically in a clump of ways juxtposed to the root system which can be the counterpoint to what is above ground.
