Lake Erie College is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Accounting for the 2008-2009 academic year. This position reports to the Dean of Management Studies; teaches courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
The ideal candidate possesses a Ph. D or DBA in Accounting (ABD's near completion of their degree may also bear on). CPA or CMA licensure is strongly preferred. All areas of specialization will be considered with preference to those candidates with an interest in managerial accounting and analyse. undergo teaching at the college level a professional background in accounting and the strong potential for scholarly activity are important qualifications. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching in a liberal arts college environment.
