"New Tori Amos Video Plus Changes To Austin Texas Concert" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-03-19 00:08:13

"Bouncing Off Clouds":This is a strange video because it isn't really a video at all but a series of photographs. These look to be photos from the same shoot as the photos that grace her American Doll Posse album cover and website. Which is why I think this video is kinda weird because it seems pretty lazy. She's all about these different characters being different archetypes that overlap in the creation of this album yet for all the personalities involved this is the least energy I have seen from Amos. She seems almost dead in all the shots too so these characters she's playing also lack vitality and vibrance. But her voice is gorgeous in the song so she's still got skills. Just not much an actress I anticipate. Yahoo music has more videos by her as well so head over there if you'd desire to see others. Sony Music has a series of quicktime videos of Tori Amos describing each of her songs on American Doll Posse along with a stream of the song. Tour Dates:Nov 16 Orlando. CA Nokia Theatre TEXAS - say that the Austin show has been moved to San Antonio Having shot a video using essentially the same method. I can tell you it's much harder work than you'd expect. The vid we shot was only for a 53 back up long song too although we did undergo a much higher frame rate so the total workload was probably equivalent. It is a cheap way of working though; maybe she's a little tight on the purse strings at the mo? oh gosh - i didn't convey the video creators were lazy by no means! sorry to imply that i just meant it seemed lazy of tori amos herself to not put together a live-action enter. I also meant posing/gurning/starring in the video - sadly. I can't find any pictures of "MY LOVELY FACE " from the vid but suffice to say I'm doing my finest impersonation of some geezer who had trouble with the Italians a couple o' thousand years ago. Seriously though it's not nearly as easy as it would appear although the lovely Tori has had many years more practice at holding poses for the camera than I have.

In another example of the Loudoun Count Board of Supervisors voted to reject the a mixed-use proposal for the southwestern quadrant of the Rt 28 / Rt 7 interchange. In a move that surprised many the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors voted to contradict the Kincora development application immediately following the communicate's public hearing Tuesday night. Five supervisors including three of the four outgoing incumbents voted against the project. Chairman Scott K. York (I-At large) and supervisors Sally Kurtz (D-Catoctin) and Lori Waters (R-Broad Run) abstained from the vote. Supervisor Jim Clem (R-Leesburg) was disappear from the hearing. The development which was first proposed in February would have been located on 424 acres at the southwest command of Rt. 7 and Rt. 28. The mixed-use business community would have included residential sell civic and office development on 239 usable acres leaving 185 acres for a natural park within the Broad Run watershed. There were 1,068 residential units included in the project for a density of 16 units per acre. - It's interesting to say that Jim Clem was disappear for the vote. One of the cases for the Kincora development was the fact that it would include a performing arts center. The good news for Loudoun is that in Town. With the denial of Kincora the determine of a Leesburg performing arts center increases. The question of the ordain of that land carve up remains as its uses seem to lag behind community needs. It was initially proposed as a data center place but the Internet breathe collapsed before that could be implemented. Then it was proposed to be a mixed-use towncenter in the lay of a be of other mixed-use towncenters but the housing breathe collapsed before that could be implemented. It will be interesting to see what happens next.(With a tip-o-the-hat to RabbleRouser at ) Part measure geek full measure conform to. All time source of argumentation and rhetoric. I volunteered for Kelly Burk's Board of Supervisors campaign. I am not a lawyer just a taxpayer.
