"Tagged!" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-09 14:50:09

The rules are simple: post a picture ofyourself on your communicate. As some may feel uncomfortable posting a currentphoto a do by or childhood picture is fine. affix the conceive of tell usthe story behind it copy the logo and tag three others (withoutforgetting to tell them that they have been tagged!) I won't tag others but I ordain participate. I don't have any recent photos but here are a couple from a few years approve. This is Indy at the start of my dog showing years. This was our first outing outside of training classes - a be which is a "practice" show. You can see how much attention Indy has - more interested in the photographer in this conceive of; later in shows he was always far more interested in the adjudicate than in me. He just knew what a handsome boy he is and that everyone (rightly) loved him! This picture was taken about 8 years ago. I am of cover the one on the left holding the leash. The conceive of below isn't the clearest but if I bequeath correctly it was taken by one of my kids. This was taken at the Deerfield bring together in the do work Museum room where I sit and spin for the duration of the bring together. The wheel is a Reeves 24" saxony which was sold about 1-1/2 or 2 years ago so the picture is at least that old. Now I use my antique Canadian Production Wheel in the Farm Museum. Today I'll be sitting here waiting for the propane affiliate to show up. The oven in my kitchen stove died over two weeks ago. It's the stove that came with the house when we moved in 15 years ago so it has lived a long and useful life. DH and I had been discussing switching to a gas stove instead and this was the perfect opportunity. Now when the cater goes out (which it does frequently during bad weather - the last time was measure week for about three hours) I'll at least be able to make a cup of coffee or cook dinner. Until I moved in here I always had a gas-powered stove and I'm looking send to the change.

"We have gas!" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-27 22:48:33

The propane has been installed and I undergo a fully functional stove again! Here's the propane store (with the cover up). The backsplash (is that the correct term when referring to a cookstove?) is much shorter than my old stove so now my stovetop chickies are temporarily without a domiciliate. I'm sure that air will be solved soon enough. I love the handle on the oven door though - I'll actually be able to fasten towels there now (my other stove had a solid oven door handle). And I'll be baking bread this afternoon! Congrats on being able to bake cover again! I remember the year many years ago now when the oven died just before Thanksgiving. Dad cooked the turkey on the kettle grill that year. I don't bequeath if we had pie or not. Too caught up in the novelty of roasting a bird in the snow!
