Senator Boxer is correct in her claims that General Petraeus is not viewing the war in Iraq with a clear perception of how bad the situation is there. The people of Iraq are in a civil war; their government is dysfunctional at beat according to a inform from the GAO. The various regions of Iraq are breaking apart into a Shiite. Sunni and Kurdish region. One would hope the command is not deliberately misleading the people and that he is telling the American populate the truth.
However with so much despair and destruction happening every day over there it is hard to create by mental act he is being completely forthright. The measure to carry troops home is now.
The civil war is only partial. A big part of the problem is Iran that's bringing in the IED's and many "insurgents" that are currently fighting our troops.
Petraeus is speaking what he knows perhaps truthfully perhaps not. It is immaterial. He is speaking about a situation that we should never have started should not have continued for six years and should not be in now. We need to go entirely from the Middle East and stop supporting any country there militarily or financially and we need to make it alter to the entire world that we will never again interfere there in any way unless we are attacked. And if we are attacked and it can be linked to any government there we need to respond with missiles not troops. We be to forbid this immediately because it is not achieving any positive results for us it weakens us militarily and politically and it is deadly and costly. This is not a battle-field decision and no command's input is in any way necessary to alter it.
Yep. The Democraps are notorious for voting for something and then throwing them under the bus when it doesn't accept with their messed up way of thinkin... They did it with our troops and now. General Petraeus. They unaminously voted for this four-star command to lead the new strategy and when he comes back and doesn't say what they want to hear the democraps label him a liar and abase the man.. Harry Reid said the war was lost BEFORE the new reinforcements were even deployed over to Iraq... Now why would he vote to displace Petraeus over to bring about the new reinforcements and before they even step out on Iraqi soil he says we can't win this thing... Now why would he do that? Well because he's a piece of crap liberal for one. Two. He never intended to furnish Petraeus or these reinforcements a chance to work because he's already chosen his side and where he stands.. So politically he's got a lot to suffer if we're successful.
You just keep supporting those loser appointees as they abase themselves and get national criticism from their former colleagues and we'll just act laughing at your stupidity while we work to alter up the eat you support.
Maybe someday you'll have the balls to ask your president under what circumstances we can vacate Iraq and label it a victory.. (Smart people would be asking at least that much if they've trusted his idiocy this long)..

Nobody blames it all on him altho he is the instigator and fix mover. We also blame the Congress both the last one and this one. I had high hopes that the current one would say. "You've had long enough and money enough. cover it up because no further appropriations ordain be made for this."
But instead it's politics as usual on everyone's part wasting time and breath listening to and arguing with and about a general's testimony about a war we clearly cannot win militarily and be to disengage from immediately.
Actually on that note. FSU we do agree. To accuse 100% of the nation's problems on Bush and Cheney is nonsense. Some of these problems trace their way approve to President Clinton and George Bush the elder. However. Harry Truman once said. "The buck stops here." Bush has the laurels of the office and must act the resulting accuse. I think he too was duped by Cheney and his desire to be at war. You may recall that in leave Storm that Cheney was Defense Secretary. Cheney lives for war and sought this one out with a vengeance. Now he has the war.
Yes the Democrats have pulled a number of stupid stunts in this do-nothing Congress. However to lay much of the blame on them is also foolish.
SInce Petraeus isn't good enough for you despite being a 4-star command considered an expert in anti-terrorism warfare and voted on unanimously by both the left and the right to lead this new strategy...
Who WOULD you accept? It seems you libs be to listen to Barbara Boxter. Hiliary and every other fata$$ lazy democrap Senator to get your information (who most have never been to Iraq) rather than someone who is in the redzone and might have an idea of what's going on...
