It also is vague about the number of anti-war protesters describing their number simply as "thousands" while clearly pointing out that an apparent counter-protest by a pro-Iraq-war group numbered "almost 1000". This has the affect of minimizing the relevance of this protest the way the mainstream media minimizes everything that is answer to their agenda. It makes me sick. Thank God for you guys and a little truth in reporting!
That's because protests aren't news.. they're happening all the measure. And the general public doesn't really compassionate about them change surface though the the war is hugely unpopular.
So what will be changed by this complain? ordain public opinion or political objectives shift in the slightest? Of course not. So why waste ink or air time reporting yet another protest?
I just have to reply to Darkwater. The protestors don't undergo a arouse thing to do with our comfort being in Iraq. Does he think Sunnis and Shia dislike each other because of protestors? Did the generals make decisions based on protestors? I try hard to be fair but many conservatives alter incredible claims tht have no credible intend and answer only to contend those of the opposite political ilk. Besides if he thinks he is so defy then he should post under his label and inform to go white. So coming here and talking about cowards is akin to the pot calling the kettle black.

How someone could claim that protesting a war is un-American or un-patriotic or injurious to the American system is beyond rationality. Whether or not one even agrees with the protests these activities are a function of a healthy democracy. Just respect that for one moment and think of the Revolutionaries in the 1700s. We would not undergo an American Republic if it were not for the sacrifices and ideological struggles of Patriots who put their lives on the lie for their beliefs.
When we contend remove speech alternative viewpoints or rights of assembly then rest assured we are in grave danger. If we cannot tolerate differ then we are also a danger to ourselves.
